Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis Joins Adam Laxalt and Ladies for Laxalt Coalition in Las Vegas

Hundreds from the “Ladies for Laxalt” Coalition Attend Fireside Chat Event with Adam Laxalt and Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, Marking the First Time She Has Stumped for a Candidate Outside the State of Florida

Las Vegas, NV – Yesterday afternoon, Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis joined her longtime friend Adam Laxalt for a fireside chat with the Ladies for Laxalt coalition and many other supporters to discuss the issues facing Nevadans, why they support Laxalt, and what they can do to help Laxalt win in November. Hundreds attended the event, held at the Las Vegas Country Club.

This was the first time First Lady DeSantis helped a candidate campaign for office outside the state of Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis previously endorsed and campaigned with his longtime friend.

Today’s event follows the Laxalt campaign’s previous Reno Ladies for Laxalt launch event in August.

Lydia Ruiz, a Hispanic mother, parental rights activist, and former Democrat started the event in prayer, and Erin Phillips, co-founder and president of the non-profit organization "Power2Parent," led the Pledge of Allegiance. Laxalt’s wife, Jaime, introduced Laxalt and the First Lady.

Laxalt and First Lady DeSantis both emphasized the importance of Nevada’s Senate election.

"Nevada is ready for a change and the Ladies for Laxalt coalition is helping to lead our call for new leadership for Nevada. Florida is blunting the impact of the Biden administration's failures and I'm proud to have the support of Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis,"Laxalt said,"Jaime and I enjoyed hosting First Lady DeSantis to feature the Florida playbook and to discuss the agenda that has protected freedoms and respected our rights. Together, we will put a stop to the failed Biden agenda and bring prosperity, safety and sanity back to Nevada."

"Nevada needs my good friend, Adam Laxalt, in the US Senate. Adam is a fighter who will ensure parents’ rights, protect communities, and preserve freedoms,"First Lady DeSantis said,"My husband, Governor Ron DeSantis, led the way for a bold agenda in Florida, and I know Nevada can count on Adam to do the same."
